EARL-V MORNING ARREST

A charfe of breaking and entering the Victoria Hotel, Abel Smith Street, on December 25, and stealing £6 3s 7d, the property of the proprietor, was made against Joseph Turner, a rigger aged 43, before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M. in the Magistrate's Court today. i , ~ ~ , Sub-Insjector J. A. Dempsey said that the arrest had been made at 1.10 a.m. The monff had been recovered.
