KINDHEART DUE SHORTLY

Although he was not racing today, Kindheart is engaged on the later days of the Manawatu Summer Meeting, and, with the benefit of his two recent races in him, he should be capable of making a bold showing in any event that is selected for him. His Monday's engagement is the Champion Hack Handicap, run over seven furlongs. Kindheart resumed racing at Fending a month-ago after having been off the scene for a year, the result of an accident. He there impressed as a colt who would soon be racing in better class if he kept sound, and, though he missed .when sent out favourite at Woodville, he put up an excellent effort in running fourth after being left several lengths at the start.
