NEW SEASON'S ARRIVALS
The frozen lamb market in London is quiet owing to the usual Christmas demand for poultry and heavier meats, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. The Wairangi's shipment of new season's lamb is selling slowly at 8d to Bid ex hooks. Wethers are quiet. The market for ewes is steady and unchanged. The frozen beef market is quiet and unchanged. Chilled beef is meeting with good trade at the better prices. The New Zealand porker pig market is steady and unchanged. Quotations for baconers are nominal.
