(Received December 26, 2 p.m.)
LONDON, December 25,
Thousands of people visited Sandringham to see the King and Queen walk from Sandringham House to the little church in the grounds of the estate. Their Majesties were accompanied by their daughters, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alice and the Earl of Athlone, and Lady Mary Cambridge, but Queen Mary did not attend the service but waited at Sandringham House for the news of the birth of her new grand.daughter.
After the traditional Christmas luncheon their Majesties attended a party of the servants of the estate, and were loudly cheered when they distributed beef to the staff and tenants. The Duke of Windsor telephoned Christmas greetings to the' King, and Queen and to Queen Mary. ,
