CITY MISSION CHRISTMAS
CHEER
(To the Editor.) Sir,—l have every reason to be grateful for the response to my appeal for the above, but readers will know I am a bit anxious because I have been forced to re-enter hospital. The reasons for the appeal still exist, and will exist, and though I am laid aside I trust my friends will not forget me. I have made all necessary arrangements for the receipt, banking, and proper expenditure of any money received, and, of course, I shall publish a balancesheet after Christmas. I anticipate being in hospital a few weeks, and hope to come out early in the New Year revived and strengthened and able to carry on. Meanwhile, please do what you can to enable me to meet the needs of those who look to me for help. Thanking you in anticipation. T. JIELDEN. aJASSkGR.
