i (United I'rcss Asaoclatlou—By Electric Tele- ; grauli—Copyright. (Received December 7, 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 6. The death has occurred from cerebrospinal meningitis of Simplico -Godino, one of Siamese twins, who was reported to have been separated from her sister after the latter's .death. By means of two unusual operations | Simplico and Lucio Godino, Siamese twins, aged 28, were separated after Lucio's death from rheumatic fever. The fact that they had separate circulatory systems encouraged the belief that Simplico would live. They also had separate nervous systems. An anaesthetic was unnecessary. One operation was necessary for the severance, while the other was a plastic one.
