MASSED BANDS.

At Newtown Park next Sunday afternoon a grand display will be given by the seven bands ■of the Wellington Brass and Pipe Bands Association. "A brilliant success" adequately describes the display held in October last thousands of onlookers were thrilled and delighted by the music of the massed bands and the spectacular evolutions performed. Glowing reports were given by those present to friends who did not attend, so this further fixture should be welcomed by the public. Arrangements have been made for an almost entire change in the music to be played and the evolutions which will be carried out. Should the weather conditions be favourable a very large crowd is expected at the Park.
