HIS SON'S FATE
SEALED BY SPANISH
PREMIER
LONDON, November 30. The Madrid correspondent of "The Times" says that the execution of the son of Senor Caballero, Premier of Spain, has been confirmed, despite a denial by General de Llano, one of the rebel leaders. His death was threatened in September as a reprisal if the former dictator's son, Jose de Rivera, was shot. Senor Caballero confirmed the death sentence on de Rivera, though he was aware that by so doing he was sealing his own son's fate. A special correspondent of "The Times," describing existence in Malaga, where 4000 lives have been lost, declares that many citizens pay five pesetas (half a crown) for the killing of an enemy or creditor. Militia shot four persons, including a priest, and smoked cigarettes for an hour, laughing at their death throes. Townsfolk shot batches of Fascists, aggregating 700.
