CONCESSION TICKETS
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—Now that Saturday " has been adopted as a holiday, I would respectfully suggest that the Wellington City Council consider the question of the present Sunday concession return tram ticket of Is being also made available for Saturdays. To those residing in the suburbs, not adjacent to the sea, a concession ticket for Saturday would no doubt be the means of attracting many families to the seaside on Saturdays.—l am, etc., HIGHER LEVEL.
(To tlie Editor.) i Sir,—Since the inception of the 40----hour week I have been waiting to sec if the Railway Department intends to extend the cheap weekend tickets, say. from Fviday afternoon until the following Monday. An announcement to that effect would, I am sure, encourage more weekend travelling.—l am, etc., PARAPARAUMU.
