OBITUARY
MR. G. R. MOORE

I GISBORNE, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr. George Robert Moore, aged 81, who, prior to his resignation eighteen months ago, had been chairman of directors of the Kia Ora Dairy Company for 25 years. Mr. Moore arrived in New Zealand at the age of 21 and entered a drapery business at Napier fifty years ago. He later joined a similar business at Gisborne, and then branched out into farming and became the leading Jersey breeder in the district.
