SOME BIG DIVIDENDS

(By ; Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 26. The Auckland Trotting Club's Spring Meeting was concluded at Alexandra Park today in dull weather. The. track was in good order, but not fast. The totalisator handled £27,417. compared with £22,539 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £48,138, against £37,943 last year. Stalky paid over a third of a century ■when he won the Green Lane Handicap, Star Pronto over three-quarters of a score1 in winning the Labour Day Handicap, and Young Rodney over a quarter of a century when he came home first in the Hilisboro.
