The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" stales that wellinformed persons consider it a mistake to attach too much importance to the visit of Count Ciano; Italian Foreign Minister, to Berlin. There are too many differences between Italy and Germany to make an alliance possible, but the idea is to frighten England and France with the bogy of an Italo-German rapprochement. The Nazis themselves prefer the friendship of Britain.
