WELLINGTON RACES
SECOND DAY'S CARD
HORSES IN LIKELY FORM
(By "Rangatira.")
Although weather prospects today are not the brightest for the second day of the Wellington Racing Club's Spring Meeting at Trentham tomorrow, and the forecast is for further rain, changes occur-so rapidly in Wellington that the racing may. yet be favoured with a fine day. What rain has fallen so far would have benefited the track rather than otherwise. There I are again good fields for tomorrow, | with quite a number of fresh horses engaged, and some of the newcomers may test the form disclosed .yesterday. A feature of the card, will be the semiclassic Trentham Stakes, which will be the first real clash, this season of the crack three-year-olds- .
