STOWAWAY FINED
(By Telegraph.^Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Patrick Crampton, aged 22, painter's labourer, was arrested on the arrival of the Mariposa on. (Saturday last, and charged with stowing away at Sydney. He appeared at the Police Court for sentence this morning. De-tective-Sergeant McHugh said that the police now.had reason to believe that [ Crampton's statement that he belonged to New Zealand was correct, ,
Crampton was fined £7 JOs, in default 14 days' imprisonment.
