NEW ZEALAND WOMEN

LONDON, September 26.

Miss V. A. Russell presided at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women's, Association, held at 415 Strand, on September 24. It was decided that the election of president should take place every two years. Mrs. Hal Williams proposed that Lady Wilford be elected president for the ensuing two years. This was seconded andycarried unanimously.

A party will be arranged later to welcome Mrs. Jordan, who is now in Geneva. She was elected patron.

The vice-presidents are Mrs. Christie and Miss-Russell.

The present committee is composed of Mrs. Hal Williams, Mrs. E. S, Harston, Mrs. H. T. B. Drew, Mrs. L. Levien, Mrs. C. J. Wray, Mrs. M. Williams, Mrs. J. J. Cameron, Mrs. F. de Latour, Miss S. Murray, Mrs. D. F. Reid, Miss Thurstan.

A donation of £5 5s was voted for the King George Memorial Fund (Fields for Children Section), and it was decided that garments which New Zealand members of the association had been making should be given to the Personal Service League.

It was stated that the association is in a satisfactory condition, having a balance of £51.

Miss M. Orbell (hon. secretary and treasurer) was thanked for her services.
