This compares with £128,905 for the previous year A sum of £2924 is brought into the < accounts, making £153,597 available. Dividends for the year amounted to 6 per cent., absorbing £146,394, and leaving £3637 to ,be carried forward. The previous year's dividend was 5 per cent. The total income for the year derived entirely from dividends from subsidiary companies was £ 154,140,. compared with £ 131,054 in the previous year.
