EASTER FOOTBALL
Permission was granted the Manawatu Football Association by the council of the New Zealand Football Association last night to hold a senior tournament at Palmerston North next Easter. It was the intention of the association to invite teams from Wellington, Masterton, Napier, and "Wanganui to take part. Tournaments of the kind had been conducted successfully in the past by the Palmerston North St. Andrew's Club and another one should materially assist Soccer in the district.
