PLACEMENT SERVICE
During the'week, ending last Saturday, 769 men .were placed in employment through the national placement service. ■' This figure is only eight less than the record set up last month. Of the total of 10,315 placements to date, 5371 are permanent. The following figures show the number of placements made since the inception of the scheme:—
