FINAL COMMUNITY SINGS

The community si,nging committee are closing down their 1936 season with a' final midday sing tomorrow at the New Opera House, and a grand final night sing at the Town Hall on Tuesday, October 27, at 8 p.m. By special request little Ethel Gibson, a blind violinist, who is a regular patron of the sings, and whose works of handcraft always find a ready sale, will contribute solo numbers at tomorrow's sing. In connection with the final night sing, by the courtesy of the National Broadcasting Service, the guest artists will be Senia Chostiakoff, the famous Russian tenor, and Mr. Vincent Ryan, Australia's popular song leader and comedian. Patrons desirous of participating in the final raffle are requested to post their' applications for tickets, together with stamped, addressed envelope, without delay. The box plan for the final sing will open at the D.I.C. tomorrow, at 9 a.m.
