The Minister of Defence, Sir Archdale Parkhill, in a report to the Federal Cabinet, states that New Zealand is anxious to co-operate with the Commonwealth Government at the earliest] possible date to improve the trade re-j lations between the two Dominions. The report is now before Cabinet and! it is expected that a further communication will be sent to the New Zealand j Government in the near future dealing j with specific points that have been raised. Sir Charles Marr, M.H.R., speaking at Hose Bay, said he would like to see free trade between Australia and New Zealand.
