CLAY TARGET SHOOTING
The Hutt Valley Gun Club held a. shoot on its grounds at Taita on Saturday afternoon. Weather conditions were ideal and' some yery good shooting was- witnessed. Two1 "skeet" matches were shot. The first match resulted in a tie, Messrs C. Moore, C. Aldridgey and J.■: Mineham shooting 20 birds each out of a possible of 25. The second match resulted in a win for S. Tisdall with a score of 20, J. Mineham being runner up with 10. A new system of handicapping was found to be very satisfactory.: The next shoot, for the Jameson Cup, will be held on October 31.
