A Stableford competition played on the Titahi links yesterday morning was won by N. W. Parker, with 35, 2— 37. Next came J. Scotland 27, 9—36; D. N. Anderson 20, 14—34; D. Crombie 26, 8—34. T
A fourball event yesterday afternoon was won by D. Dacre (4) and D. N. Anderson (14), with 5 up. Next came N. Parker (2) and A. M. Caughley (17), 3-up.; ■ .
In the final of the junior championship, over 36 holes, yesterday, J. Scotland beat I. M. Gault, 6 and 4. In the morning round Scotland went out in 38 to-stand 7 up, and held this lead on the home journey, covering the course in 84. In the afternoon Gault came on to his game, and won four holes back, but Scotland finished strongly to win by 6 and 4.
The annual' ringer competition was won by W. Marchant, with 54. The final of■ the October points' cup was won by N. W. Parker, with 14 points.
The club is holding an open tournament next weekend, entrants for which should ring Mr. Crichton, 36r555. There is a wide variety of events, and the course is in excellent order. A dance will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday night
