Yasar Erkan, member of .the Turkish wrestling team,..won the featherweight title at the Olympic Games. Now the Turkish nation has awarded Erkan with a six-roomed house, fully furnished, complete with, garden and training ground, because he has given back Turkey the old slogan, "Strong as a Turk." And he and his family will be exempt from all taxes, imposts, and other charges made by the State or the municipality , during a period of ien years.
