KARORI CLUB
Better weather : conditions were experienced at Trentham on Saturday when the Karori Club fired a match at 600 yards. The scores were not very high considering the easy conditions. : Very few points; however, were lost on windage. Top score was made by G. L. Coker with a total of 90. H. V. Croxton was next with 89. A good score of 87' was made by R. J. Stewart, a junior member who ha,s graduated from miniature rifle shooting. Some hew members making their first, appearance on the range found 600 yards a little difficult for an initial shoot. The following are the detailed scores:— 600 600 •' yds. yds. Tl. G. L. Next' Saturday the club will fire a match at 800 yards. The championship will begin on November 7 at the 300 yards range.
