HONOLULU, October 18.
Mr. H. Ekins (Scripps-Howard/news-papers), -who is leading in the American journalists' race around the world, is due at San Francisco at noon today and expects to have breakfast in New York tomorrow. ' ' :
The China Clipper aeroplane arrived at Carite harbour, Philippine Islands, yesterday and will leave on Tuesday. Mr. Leo Kiernan (North American Newspaper Alliance) and Miss Dorothy Killgallen (Hearst . newspapers) ara among the passengers.
