BLENHEIM BY-ELECTION

BLENHEIM, October 8,
In a by-election for a vacancy on the Blenheim Borough Council held today, G. M. Spence was elected with a majority of 56. A total of: 739 votes was cast, and the voting was as follows:—Spence, 309; E. M. Gibson, 353; R..A. Jamieson, 177.
