Paramount Attraction,

With a cast of stellar names said to be the largest ever assembled for a screen production of its type, "Dinner at Eight," the much-discussed Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production, will commence a season at the Paramount Theatre tomorrow. Although there have been several productions boasting of all-star casts, none has been so lavishly endowed as has "Dinner, at Eight." The stars are headed by Marie Dressier, whose characterisation of the one-time musical comedy star is said to be a remarkable one. Rendering support are Wallace Beery and Jean Harlow, playing husband and wife. Their scenes together have been hailed by critics as setting a new mark in comic interpretation. With totally divergent characterisations, the Barrymore brothers, John and Lionel, are once more seen in the same film. John has" the role of the broken-down actor whose suicide marks one of the highlights of the film, whilst Lionel plays the harassed, sick business man. Lee Tracy, Edmund Lowe, Billie Burke, Madge Evans, Karen Morley, Phillips Holmes, Jean Hersholt, May Robson, and Louise Closser Hale are also seen in important pprts. The plot of the | film tells of a brief section in the lives of a group of various people drawn together at a dinner party.
