GOLF TUITION
LESSONS BY TELEVISION
FLEET STREET TESTS
(Received October 7, 10.40 a.m.)
LONDON, October 6.
Hopes of television broadcasts of tht Test matches were brought nearer by the British Broadcasting Corporation s achievement in bringing to Fleet Street golf lessons given by Archie Compston from a television station at a miniature course at Alexandra Palace. The scenes were depicted clearly on receivers in Fleet Street, and even th« sound of the impact of the club on tna ball was perfect.
