SAVOLDI v. BLOMFIELD.

A wrestling match which is bound _to capture the public's interest'will _be staged at the Wellington Town Ball on Monday night when "Jumping Joe Savoldi, the electrifying dropkick artist, will have his first meeting with "Lofty" Blomfleld, the popular New Zealand champion.. .The. matching of these two has been eagerly awaited ever since Savoldi arrived in the country and commenced to blaze a brilliant trail in which victory followed victory in quick succession. ' McCready succeeded'in holding the mercurial Italian to a draw and this, so far, is the only check imposed upon Savoldils winning way. Whether Blomfleld will be able to lower .his colours ■ has yet to' be seen, but the New> Zealander is confident that he can do so and will spare no effort to prove, that his confidence is well justified. .In achieving his ends he is bound to make free use of his famous elbow jolts and there will also be trouble in store for Savoldi v. Blomfield is able to apply his deadly octopus clamp. Apart from his specialties the New. Zealander never fails to pursue a course of fast and aggressive action productive of many thrills.
