OTTAWA A DEADLY BLOW
"Ottawa was a deadly blow to our coal export trade," said Mr. J..E. Emlyn-Jones (Cardiff), a delegate to the Congress ot Chambers of Commerce, when speaking at the New Zealand Club luncheon today. It was a blow, he said, because it imposed on Wales, the necessity of curtailing its trade with the biggest customers, France, Italy, and the Argentine. Whatever benefits accrued to a few, there were great disadvantages for many.
