SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP
Twenty-four entries have been received for New Zealand's first provincial snooker championship, which is to be opened at Billiards, Limited, showrooms next Monday night. The entries are representative of most of the best snooker talent, and include the well-known Taranaki player, D. J. Goodwin, of Hawera. The various heats are two games each, the highest aggregate points winning. The final is five games up, best three out of five.
The draw for Monday night is as follows:—7 p.m., E. A. Josling v. L. Davis; 8 p.m., C. W. Hall v. W. G. Fitzgerald; 9 j.m,, N. H. Atkinson v. S. Moses.
