MORNINGTON CLUB

Many entrants thoroughly enjoyed the annual senior and junior Canadian foursome which was played for in ideal conditions by the Mornington Club. The winners, W. Taylor and N. Sanford, on 11 handicap, played consistently to score two rounds of 62 net. The runners-up were C. Tonks and H. B. Craighead, who with a 12 handicap brought in a brilliant card of 59 net in the morning but dropped back to 67 net in the afternoon. Other good cards were: T. MeWhirter and R. Pattison (12), 65, 65—130; F. W. Andrews and Geo. King (12), 66, 66—132; P. Kennedy and C. Jacobi (12), 64, 70—134; W. Coy and Geo. Estall (12), 68, 66—134; L. W. McGirr and W. J. Cooch (10), 71, 64—135; C. Eversleigh and M. De Woolf (12), 69, 67—136.
