CRICKET TOUR OFF
DIFFICULTIES IN INDIA
Definite advice of the cancellation of the proposed tour of New Zealand by an Indian cricket team during the coming season has been received by the New Zealand Cricket Council and passed on to the affiliated associations. Matters of extreme difficulty in the State of Nawanagar, it was stated in a letter received at last night's meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association's management committee, prevent the Maharajah from making the tour he had planned.
