THEFT OF PLIERS
A plea of guilty to the theft of a pair of pliers, valued at ss, was entered' by Manu Tomuru, alias Bert Taylor, before Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. DetectiveSergeant, L. Revell, who prosecuted, said that some tools were found to be missing from a job on which the defendant was working. The defendant was later seen to be using a pair of pliers which were recognised, and when questioned he said that he had found them lying among some boxes and did not know to whom they belonged. The defendant had recently been married and had a job to go to,' i£ given a chance. ■
The defendant was convicted and , fined £2. __ y .
