MR. H. F. G. FROST

MASTERTON, This Day.
The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital yesterday afternoon of Mr. Henry Francis G. Frost, aged 58. The lat£ Mr. Frost was admitted to hospital the'previous night, and his death will come as a great shock to his m,any friends. Born at Newmarket-on-Fer-gus, County Clare, Ireland, the second son of the late Dr. E. Frost, J:P., of "Beach Lawn,"- Mr. Frost was educated at St.;Flannars School, Emus, .and at Glasneyen College, Dublin. The early part of his life was spent- in South Africa, and after sometime in Canada he came to New- Zealand, arriving" here in 1909 and.settling Jn Nelson. Later, Mr. Frost went to Whangarei,.thence to Wanganui, and for the last three and a half yearshe had resided in Masterton, where he was orchard instructor for the Department of Agriculture. He was an h6norary member of the Masterton Beautifying Society, and was an enthusiastic golfer, being, a member of the committee of the Masterton Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, three sisters, and a brother, Colonel W. A. Frost, 0.8. E., K.A.M.C, of Hong Kong. Two other brothers who predeceased him were Colonel A. F. Frost, R.A.M.C, of Reading, England, and the Very Eev. Father Edmund Frost, Rector of St. Xavier's College, Kew, Melbourne. ■■ -.-'"■■ ■ ■■■■.■
