More than 1500 troops left Aldershot | today to embark on the steamship" California at Southampton for Palestine.' The troops belong to the 2nd Battalion of the West Yorkshire Regiment, the 2nd Battalion of the Hampshire Regiment, and the Royal Army Pay Corps. With this departure there will be ten battalions at sea. The first detachment of reinforcements are due to arrive at Haifa today and General Dill,, with his staff, will be present to j welcome the troops.
