FOR FIRST TIME

MOVIE CAMERA IN ABBEY

CORONATION CEREMONY

(Received September 23, 1 p.m.) LONDON, September 22. The "Daily Telegraph" says that it is possible that the Coronation will be filmed for the first time in history. The introduction of the movie camera to Westminster Abbey has always been frowned on in the past because it was feared that it would tend to lessen the dignity of the ceremony. It is now felt that the inconvenience would be counter-balanced by the interest in the picture throughout the Empire, and also its value as a historical document.
