SATURDAY'S BIG RACE
The Palmerston North-Wanganui road cycling race will be staged next Saturday. This event, which is usually regarded as. a preliminary to the strenuous contest from Palmerston North to Wellington, has drawn a very representative field of 71. The best talent in the Wellington, Manawatu, Wanganui, Taranaki, and Hawke's Bay districts will be on hand and it is anticipated that a keenly-contested race will result.
