MC LEAN LOSES AMATEUR FINAL
NEW YORK, September 19. Johnny Fischer (Cincinnati) won the national amateur golf title by defeating Jock McLean (Glasgow), one up at the 37th. Fischer was three down with eight holes to play, but gave a remarkable display of golf to pull up and win.
