WEDDINGS
WARR—DONALDSON. The wedding was solemnised at St. Mark's Church, Dufferin Street, on Wednesday evening, of Myra Eleanor, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Donaldson, Wellington, to Raymond Frederick, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Warr, Northland. The Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe officiated and the organist was Mr. L. Watkins. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of white lace over satin with a long circular train. Pleated frills of fine stiffened net formed the huge puffed sleeves, while the pointed collar of frilled net was finished at the neck with a cluster of lily of the valley. A circlet of pearl orange blossom with a cluster at each side was worn with the beautiful veil of Brussels net, which was hand-em-broidered with, tiny true-lover's knots, and which formed a second train. She carried a bouquet of orange and white cherry blossom with trails of the buds and silver ribbon. The bridesmaids, Miss M. Pedersen (chief) and Miss D. Warr, were dressed alike in golden tinted moire taffeta frocks, slightly trained, and opening over pleated frills in the front. The deep pointed yokes were of gold net trellised with gold braid, and the sleeves were puffed. Deep lavender-shaded flowers formed sprays at the waist at the back. They wore large stiffened gold net hats, and carried bouquets of gold-tinted flowers. Mr. J. Coleman was best man, Mr. C. Coleman groomsman, and Mr. A. Ogilvie, and Mr. Grahame White were ushers. . ' . A reception and dance was held at the Masonic Hall, Berhampore. Mrs. Donaldson received the guests wearing a Lido blue ripple georgette and lace frock, slightly trained, and a tuscan straw hat with a small stiffened veil. Her shoulder spray was of flowers in two tones of blue. Mrs. Warr (the bridegroom's mother), assisted her, wearing brown silk crepe with gold lame, and a hat to tone, and a shoulder spray of autumn tinted flowers. Mrs. H. P. Coleman, Island Bay (sister of the bride's mother), also assisted. She wore black lace with a black and gold hat and a shoulder spray of golden tinted freesias. • Among those present were Mrs. McNally. and Mrs. H. Pope, Greytown (great aunts of the bride).
