INDIA'S ECLIPSE STAKES
Many well-known. English horses are among the first entries "received for the Eclipse Stakes of India, to be run in Bombay on January 30 .next, The Aga Khan has entered Barra Sahib and Shahali.. The Begum Aga Khan has nominated Le Due and Zem Zem. Among the other entries are M. M. de Boussac's Astyanax, Mr. E. Esmond's Rosecrag and Necker, Mr. M. D. Petit'S Hippy Buchan; H.H. Maharajah Gaekwar of Baroda's Minstrel 111, H.H. The Maharajah of Parlakimedi's Silver Plated, H.H. The Maharajah of Kashmir's Rentenmark, and Mr. Eve's Irongrey. The Eclipse Stakes of India is run over 1J miles, and is worth, to the winner, about £4500 and a gold cup.
