WORK AT LOWER HUTT
the work of clearing the water main in Lower Hutt of internal corroby a special process is at present ;in hand. About 5£ miles of mains 'will .be' treated, and so far 2J .. miles have been done, in Bridge Street, Pharazyn Street, Aglionby „, Street, part of Western , Hutt Road, „' Titoki, Buckley, Alice, Valentine, Montague, Tama, . Wakefield, and Mudie *• Streets, and work is at present being carried out in Pretoria Street. • Residents are warned beforehand that the water will be cut off for 241 hours and during that time any person who runs out of water is supplied .• from a water cart. • ■ The process not only cleans the pipes ■■■ but coats the inside with smooth concrete.
