The' members of the Oxford University Expedition returned to London last night after having spent, 14 months in the Arctic. They carried out their entire programme- in the interior of North-East Land • with complete success. Later he was sent to organise in Berlin, where the Nazis had.not progressed rapidly', and he founded the newspaper "Der Angriff." There his gifts for organisation proved themselves and he made Berlin a Nazi stronghold. He is Minister of Propaganda and Public Enlightenment, and his dictatorship in this sphere is absolute. There have been many foreign tributes to the thoroughness and imaginative ability of his propaganda—he was the author of those Nazi spectacles which are familiar, with the appearance of Hitler carefully arranged, With massed flags, and searchlights playing about. Various writers have commented on his violence of opinion and his bitterness.
