PARIS OPERA'HOUSE

(Received September 14, 9 a.m.) PARIS, September 12. The famous Opera House had a narrow escape from destruction by fire, which broke out early this morning, apparently owing to a'short circuit.1 Nine brigades succeeded in quelling the flames after three, hours. The stage was damaged by fire and water. The auditorium was undamaged.
