THE MURITAI CLUB
The annual general meeting of tha Muritai Tennis Club was held recently, the club's president, Mr. H..W. Shortt, presiding. Among those present was the Mayor of Eastbourne, Mr., E, W. "Wise ■• In moving the adoption of the annual reporTandialance-sheet the chairman referred to the fine work of the social commUtee in raising £25 towards, the building fund. ■•■ Comment-was made of the-- great ;advantage felt ~by ,the acquisition of the new pavilion,and? the effect it had on the enjoyment of,the tS at-Eastbourne. . -The - m ments made, to th* courts^ oyer the winter months by the .obtaimng^of extra land and the erection offences further back formed further subject of his remarks. . ■ ; _. ■ - •-■ ■ ■ Officers for the incoming season were elected as follows.—Patron.. the Hon.
