NOT IN TWO YEARS
AIRSHIP SERVICE
AMSTERDAM-AUSTRALIA
LONDON1, September 2.
Regarding a report from New York that a Dutch group is planning an airship service between Amsterdam, the East Indies, and Australia, the X.L.M. company stated that the Zeppelin syndicate formed in Holland two years ago is still in existence, but plans are little; advanced. • Dutch shipping companies are the chief shareholders, and X.L.M. is also financially and technically' interested, but they are at present undecided whether to purchase airships, and have discussed routes only tentatively. There is a possibilityithat an airship may be purchased from Germany or built in Holland, but'the establishment of a service of any sort is most unlikely in less than two years. ■■.
