(Received September 3, 11 a.m.)

LONDON, September 2.

Coincidently 'with a cable from Cape Town to the effect that no doubt, the new liner Stirling Castle will break the record to the Cape and that already, after twelve days' sailing, she has shown herself to be the fastest ship in the Cape trade, the Union Castle Line, at a meeting in London, has made financial arrangements for building a new mail vessel of the Stirling Castle type and for fitting new engines in five other Castle liners.
