CHARGE OF THEFT
Pleading not guilty to a charge of theft of two half-bottles of brandy valued at 19s, the property of the New Zealand Shipping Company, Paul Gerard Michalsen, a labourer, aged 54, appeared before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. He was remanded to appear tomorrow, bail being allowed. Mr. E. D. Blundell appeared for the company.
