NO TEMPERAMENTAL TANTRUMS.
Charlotte Greenwood, the elongated blonde stage and screen star, who is in private life Mrs. Martin Broones, has been receiving a warm welcome in the States, where she hails from, after a lengthy stay in England. Miss Greenwood is to appear in the stage musical comedy "Leaning Letty," which she hopes to take to England, where she is very popular. . Her husband wrote some of the songs she sings in it, "Moon Melody" being particularly catchy. What impresses observers about Miss Greenwood is her complete lack of prima donna airs. There is, as. the phrase goes, <"no misterioso about . her." She is a friendly, unassuming person, a believer in hard work, conscientious to a fault, instinctively courteous in her relations with other people, completely and winningly unaffected. It is inconceivable that Charlotte Greenwood has ever staged ,a temperamental' tantrum or walked out in a huff. She is simply not made ~that way.
