PLENTY OF 4.36 HORSES

The meeting recently concluded at Addington showed a definite weakness in the 4min 34sec class depart-ment,,-and a small field faced the starter each time a race of this class was run. There is a different tale to tell of horses in the 4min 36sec class, and this would be shown today when nominations for the Burwood Handicap at the New Brighton Meeting were taken. The coming meeting should be one of the most successful in recent years, for the stakes are better than usual and the classes are suitable for many, of the horses in work.
